Dictador Párrafo I Borbón Vintage 2001

Dictador Párrafo is a limited edition of vintages personally selected and created by Dictador's Master Blender Hernan Parra. This result of many years of work resulted in a collection of excellent rums that have been aged in American oak with a finish in sherry and port casks. The outstanding quality of the Romans in this series is a testament to the artistry of the Parra family and their multi-generational experience.

 

Nose: Hints of well-aged cognac appear first, which transitions to apple pie, red cherries, dates, figs and notes of dark chocolate. Candied orange peel appears last.

 

Palate: A soft and inviting palate has notes of vintage leather, dark cherry, sweet orange, earthy truffle and hazelnut praline. Sweet, soft and delicious!

 

Aftertaste: Soft tangerine notes, some blood orange notes and a hint of cinnamon spice.
